Emily Hilditch - UI Designer

I joined Sports Direct as a junior web designer after graduating in 2014. I always aspired to work in ecommerce so was very fortunate when I was offered the job. From the very beginning, I was given diverse projects that pushed my creativity and technical skills.

Working in a team of skilled designers and developers, we manage over 70 websites. I am given huge responsibly to improve and maintain our vast growing portfolio of sites. I enjoy the fast paced working environment where I can utilise and enhance my design skills on all aspects of ecommerce.

I thoroughly enjoy the working environment where hard work is rewarded. One of the highlights is attending the annual conference, a full day of fun activities where you get the opportunity to relax and take part in different events. Working at Sports Direct is a wonderful experience where I feel part of an expanding team committed to success.

During my time at Sports Direct I have progressed from a junior website designer. My passion has always been with digital design and aim to progress further in the company. It’s been exciting to grow with such a thriving company and be part of its success.

Working in Ecommerce

You will be based in our head office in Shirebrook, Nottinghamshire. As with our stores, the environment is fast paced, innovative and creative. We will always have lots going on, this only makes the role more exciting and give you sense of accomplishment when you have stretched yourself and can see the end result.
